The model of La Galga was built by Bill Bane, former Navy Underwater Demolition Team, Salvage Diver, and one of the first Navy Seals. It took him two years to complete. La Galga is a 56 gun Spanish warship that ran asore on Assateague Island on September 5, 1750. Legend says that the wild ponies of Assateague came from this ship The model is now on display at the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. 18" x 24" $20.00
